Swatch: Cult Nails Deal With It

Apologies in advance! I'm sorry to dangle this in front of everybody but I snagged this and two other gorgeous colours when Cult Nails announced their closing out sale. I've been lusting on Deal With It since it was released, knowing I couldn't justify a full priced bottle plus the $7 shipping.

BUT HERE WE ARE. Took three or four coats and I love love LOVE gold shimmer on anything. I'm just going to let the photos speak for themselves because they came out really well despite my terrible macrophotography skills.

I love greens *_* Did you guys get anything from Cult Nails in their last days of business?

Swatch: Rainbow Honey Waves and Rainbow Honey Magic Cake

I HAVE SO MANY COLOURS LIKE THIS SOMEBODY STOP ME. Waves is a gorgeous formula but if you have any of Essence Choose Me!, Wet&Wild 446D, Fingerpaints Avante Garde Green... on second thought these are all different colours and I am glad I have them all.

Here is waves, a gorgeous green like oceans with a bluish undertone. Sorry for the mess!

To spice it up, I added RH Magic Cake, one of the cutest and best selling glitters of last year. Over that I put Piper Polish Spectraflair topcoat.

Unfortunately I could not get a good sunshine photo until one nail had popped off but I love the rainbow sheen I've got even if I'm the only one who can see it.

Sunshine days are coming! I'm dreaming of some sandy beaches and warm ocean, how about you?

Swatch: Rainbow Honey Crème de Caramel and Rainbow Honey Viridis

Here it is! The base for Sunday's Peachy Sangria nail art. Unlike the online swatch, this colour is quite a bit more peachy than it is caramel. For some reason I think caramel is more brown/tan coloured. Anyway, this is still a beautiful colour, reminiscent of Julep Hayden (but more yellowish) with a MUCH better formula.

This is three coats.

I was looking for a complimentary glitter and picked up RH Viridis, from the Midnight Garden collection I think. It goes really well with all the cool green circles and lime green stars. There's also some lilac hexes and I think it's a great mix that goes well together. This is one of my better combos.

Sorry about the cuticles! I am trying out RH's nail honey cuticle oils and put on Pomelo to finish up. I also used their Tea Biscuit topcoat and together it smelled like fresh apple cookies on my hands!

Do you guys like scented topcoats? Tell me your favourite cuticle oil too!

Nail Art: Peachy Sangria

Heelloooooooooooo loyal followers! Seriously I want you to know how much I appreciate y'all given I tend to drop off the face of the planet intermittently. I wanted to post this because today is Mother's Day and that always reminds me of heavy breakfasts and fruity booze thanks to Branden's mama (lol).

So all the swatches for these are forthcoming but I definitely ordered the entire La Patisserie collection from Rainbow Honey (website, Facebook) and the colours are gooooorgeous.

So, onto fruity drinks. The base is Rainbow Honey Crème de Caramel topped on accent fingers with Rainbow Honey Viridis from a previous collection. The unglittered nails have been graced with Gelée de Fraise in a little drop which was subsequently flared out using the pointy end of an orange stick. Does it look like the pit of a peach when you slice it in half? :D?

Ah well, it may be a little abstract, but my new boss noticed and that was cool! (PS I started a new thing this week and that's why everything is all out of whack - including the prize distribution for the giveaway. I'm sorry!! They're coming!!)

Both hands! I think it is nice and springy!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there! I hope you have kids like my boyfriend and his siblings who make you amazing eggs benny and apple turnovers. (And if you are like me, keep your chin up and eat some chocolate <3)
