So I'm now REALLY EXCITED about this one. It turned out really well! After my little caterpillar fail I am really happy about this. I AM SQUEEING AS I TYPE.
So I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I want to try watermelons and strawberries sometime, but I'm not the biggest fan of those. I really like black cherries, and blueberries, and kiwis but those first two are little bitty fruits with no interesting patterns and two other people in the group have done kiwi. I looked up some summer fruit though, and found the PERFECT one =D

I started with Julep Emmanuelle, and mattified it.
The next step was to dot on Sally Hansen Salon Cruel Heart, a dark vampy red that looks purple in the bottle.

I wasn't done! This looks great on its own, but I thought I might get some... depth? I added some random scattered dots with my smaller dotting tool with Julep January =)

DeleteI thought they were raspberries too. Color fits and all. But I have never had a promegranate in my life, so that one doesn't really show up on my fruit radar ^^; I think your pomegranates look great!

DeleteI totally thought raspberries. I tried pomegranate once. ...made the mistake of cutting it open and my kitchen looked like a total murder scene.
ReplyDeleteAhahaha I can't even imagine how that was to clean up >_< I was hoping the patterning of the dots would be more obvious, but it works out because I love (loooove) raspberries too! =P
