NCC: Stamping #2

My second attempt was a MUCH greater success =3 I am so proud!

I began with Rainbow Honey Ivy's Kiss. Over top, I chose RA-115 and stamped using Billie silver.

 Because I'm terrible at placement and this stamp was a single image one instead of a whole-nail pattern, I streaked the bottom on an angle to create a sort of frenched look.

 And then I matted it! My camera seemed to prefer this =P

Took a page from one of my favourite bloggers, Let Them Have Polish.

NCC May Stamping: IT WORKED.

This will be a two part post. The first is just to squee over stamping that worked even though it looks terrible.

The second part will show the dress I was trying to match =3

First though, let's show the stamping! I started with Joe Cement and Essie Pure Pearlfection.

 And then I stamped using RA-108 and Essence Black is Back.

VICTORY.

Now leave me to my shame and go look at everyone else =P

FiA #6 Autumn Leaves

Leaves! What the bloody hell am I gonna do with leaves? How do I get that much detail on my nails? At first I thought of doing a take on the comic POW! nails and then I thought better. Red Angel to the rescue =D

So I started with Tokidoki Savana and stamped first with RA-120 and Essence Wake Up

Then RA-116 with Essence Wanna Be your Sunshine

And lastly, RA-121 with Julep January

And one coat of Ulta X-dry to smooth it all out. It really made the colours pop!

And after clean up <3

If I were to do this again I would change one of two things: either I wouldn't use the yellow OR I would only use the maple leaf stamp (in all three colours PLUS probably a darker red as well)... but this is my first successful stamping experience! What do you think? Did I do alright?

Everyone else's is GORGEOUS too! This challenge item seriously brought out the colour creativity =D
